Documentation - MultiTrans Component

Introduction Correcting Text Replace Images Manage Module
This component enables extra features in the MultiTransPlus module. You can store your data for modifying your translated text or substituted images. The data is written into javascript files in JSON format. This means that the information is effectively cached and access to the database of your site is greatly reduced. Housekeeping facilities are available to keep your files up to date.

Click on a flag to insert the code for the language that has been translated to ( Target language ).

Specify the text that you wish to modify
( maison ) and then the modification to replace it ( chez nous )

You can make the modifications more selective by limiting the pages that they are applied to. Also in the original text if you give a word a class for example house you can target false translations individually or groups.

Specify the src attribute of the image that you wish to replace. This might be a relative (short) src (images/img1.png) or it may be the full URL ( long ) (http://mysite.com/images/img1.png). It needs to be exactly as specified as it is viewed in the view source option of your browser. The replacement src can be either long or short format.

The original image can be given a class for example <img src="images/img1.png" class="fr_img2" /> so can target images individually.

Data entered here is stored in the database.
Only when this is updated the files for module are modified.
This means that your database is not overworked and the processing is completed in the end-user's browser.
Data for the replacement of images is processed in the same way.

Create a new correction entry.

Trim - Remove items from data files that are no longer in the database.

Purge - Completely remove data files previously created.

Rebuild - create new data files from database entries.

After installing the MultiTrans component an additional tab will appear in the MultiTransPlus module
This enables you to enable/disable editing and image replacement.
